Amphibious Forces Patch
1944-1947

This patch was the first non-ratings patch ever authorized by the U.S. Navy. Ship's Cook 2/C Ralph W. Haase, of ATB Solomons, represented the base for the first presentation of the first patches at Amphibious Training Command Headquarters, Ocean View, VA, on July 13, 1944.
